This year, in our special Centenary season, we proudly introduce The Rob Maxey Cup, awarded to our Volunteer of the Year in memory of a man whose dedication to ACRFC left a lasting mark.

Rob, along with Juliet, has been a tireless supporter of the club for many years, and Juliet continues to honour his legacy with unwavering support. This support has also been continued by Robs cousins Cathryn, Bruce and Alison and we are deeply grateful for their generosity and for gifting this very special award to the club.

And in its inaugural year, there could be no more deserving recipient than Andrew Grant.

Whether he’s managing the touchline, penning match reports, spotlighting players, or tackling the less glamorous side of club life (disciplinary matters included!) — Andy’s commitment is unmatched.

A long-time 1st Team Manager and Club Discipline Officer, Andy gave around five years of dedicated service to ACRFC. By day, he’s a DCI for the MPS, specialising in Modern Slavery and Child Exploitation — and yet he still finds time to give so much to the club.

Andy, we salute you.
