It is great to have had the team back together for the last few Sundays. Many familiar faces back and also some new team members to welcome. We were very pleased to see all the skills that we practised as U7's last season remain with the gang!

This year we have changed the format a little bit. Each week we focus on one core skills area such as attack or defence but also build in one of the TREDS core principles of Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship.

Each week we now start at 9.30 in the clubhouse where the coaches give a short brief on the plans for that weeks training sessions and the gang can understand the plan and ask any questions about the session - the gang are very chatty and keen to learn as much as possible.

Then it is out onto the park to practise our drills, play some games and often finish with a good old game of Bulldog. We are building nicely to our first matches at the festival in a weeks time.

We have had some stand out performed already this season and have awarded medals each week to the team members who stand out each week. of couse, all of them are putting in an amazing effort to support each other and each demonstrating the true values of TREDS.

We will post our award winners each week on here as well as a few pictures of the weeks activities. Our award winners so far include Rory, Ayan, Oliver, Barnaby, Pippa, Monty, Sammy, Barney, Ralph and Oliver.
