A TOP NIGHT AWAITS - FOOD NOW AVAILABLE - STILL TIME TO BOOK

Hello Folks

We are happy to say that even with our new fantastic ticket price, there will now be food available on the night. Our friends at A Little Street Kitchen will be opening the A&C Kitchen and serving their delicious and very popular ‘bowl food’ which has been enjoyed by so many at our Fireworks nights and at our Centenary match day in December. The kitchen will be open from 7pm and table seating will now be available so if you want to sit with friends just let us know, and we can reserve a table for you, otherwise it’s going to be first come first served.

Tickets are still just £15 a ticket. However, you will need to pay for any food or drink you buy on the night. If you want to order wine or beer for the tables, let us know that in advance too.

The bar opens at 7pm and the Comedy will commence at 8pm prompt. Tickets are selling well, but there’s still room left, so e-mail your booking now to events@chilternrugby.com.

There will be an interval when more food and drink willl be available and the bar will be open after the event until 11pm.

Just to remind you of the entertainment for the night… brilliant acts to make you laugh and smile all night long...

The night's line up looks like this...

GERRY KYEI

Anecdotal, observational and refreshingly honest in style, Gerry's comedy is enriched by a somewhat unique perspective: Real name Gerry Kyei (pronounced “Chay”), Gerry was born in the East End, but grew up in rural Essex, as a rare black face in an almost totally white ¬ and very parochial area (a million miles away from the traditional Essex stereotype towns like Harlow, Basildon, Romford and Southend). In addition to providing some truly original insights into life in rural England, these early experiences have ensured Gerry's comedy delights an incredible range of audiences often confounds expectations.

EARL ORKIN

Earl Okin has been a legend in both the comedy & jazz clubs of Britain for many years.
Earl is not only a very funny man, but also a great singer and musician. ‘Musical Genius and Sex Symbol’, as he has been known, he uniquely takes you on a journey to his eccentric world of comedy and music. His unique gift for poking gentle fun at the music (and himself) - Earl is a sell-out wherever he appears, and his 'mouth-trumpet' is the most unique sound in British Jazz. His dry and hilarious original act is guaranteed to be full of fun for anyone who loves Great British Humour.

HEADLINE ACT: TERRY ALDERTON

Terry has always been something special. With a set full of extraordinary caricatures – where he famously is interrupted, and with his back turned, battles with his TWO inner voices’ - and some stunningly acute impressions, observations and a hyperactive delivery, stand-up performer Terry Alderton is loved by comics and fans alike… you would have seen him on the BBC, ITV, Ch4, Ch5, Live at the Apollo and from here to Australia…

Eddie Izzard said of him: “He’s a very funny man with a ‘fantastic comedy mind, but someone who really ought to seek some sort of professional help”.

MC FOR THE NIGHT... STEVE OWEN

Back for our Centenary night of comedy our A&C longtime friend and funny man, Steve Owen. New material incoming for those who know him, a belly fully of laughs for those who don’t, all thrown in with a bit of A&C nostalgia too!

Steve Owen is a British impressionist who has gained attention for his ability to mimic the voices and mannerisms of various public figures, particularly celebrities and politicians. He has built a reputation for his uncanny ability to impersonate voices with remarkable accuracy. His impressions span a wide range, including famous personalities from the worlds of politics, television, and entertainment. We love Steve!
